Binary Plan

Matrix MLM software compensation plans, also known as forced matrix plans or ladder plans, are among the most common MLM structures. They are widely recognized and often serve as a foundational concept in multi-level marketing.

In matrix MLM designs, both the "depth" and "width" are predetermined. The width refers to the number of positions available on each level, while the depth indicates the total number of levels in the matrix. These fixed parameters define the fundamental structure of the matrix plan.

The width and depth of matrix MLM plans vary, with common configurations including 3x3, 3x4, 4x5, and similar formats. Each matrix type specifies a different number of positions per level (width) and the total number of levels (depth), defining its overall structure.

The matrix MLM plan is straightforward: initial members are placed on the first level, and as new recruits join, they are allocated to subsequent levels based on the plan's structure. This systematic distribution continues, filling higher levels as more members are added.

Commonly used matrix MLM plans include 2x12, 3x9, 4x7, and 5x7. For instance, with a 4x7 matrix plan, you can recruit four individuals on the first level. Additional recruits will then cascade into the subsequent levels, filling out a total of seven layers in the matrix structure.
